RESUME

Dr. Pavlos Zarogoulidis M.D, MS.C, Ph.D, is an interventional Pulmonologist-Tuberculologist, Director of the Pulmonary Clinic at the General Clinic Euromedica, Thessaloniki. He has 3 postgraduates: A) in “Clinical Pharmacology and Therapy” from Democritus University of Thrace, B) “Thyroid and Parathyroid Surgery” from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and C) “Sleep Medicine” from Democritus University of Thrace and PhD in lung cancer from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

He has received the award of Scientific Excellence in 2014 from the Hellenic Pulmonary Society based on his scientific work. In his daily practice he performs diagnosis of lung cancer with bronchoscopy, endobronchial ultrasound (Radial and Convex technique) EBUS and medical thoracoscopy. Also the pulmonology clinic of the General Clinic Euromedica can treat any pulmonary patient.

He is a member of the European Respiratory Society (ERS), the American Thoracic Diseases (ATS), the European Association of Interventional Pulmonology (EABIP), the Chinese Association of Interventional Pulmonology (CABIP), the International Society of Aerosol Medicine (ISAM), International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer (IASLC) and the World Association for Interventional Pulmonology (WABIP).

He completed his postgraduate training in medical oncology at the Oncology Clinic of Christie Hospital, Manchester U.K. and his specialization in interventional pulmonology at the Ruhrland Clinic, University of Duisburg-ESSEN, ESSEN, Germany.

He has also postgraduate training at the Thoracic Oncology Clinic of the Institute for Pulmonary Diseases of Vojvodina, Serbia.
